Young Carrot

When Daddy was little his Daddy (Poppy) would sometimes call him old bean. Not knowing this term of endearment little Adam started calling his Dad: Young Carrot. It stuck for years. Recently Teddy was let in on the secret when Daddy finally admitted he is now the Old Bean, so Teddy can now be Young Carrot. 

…making Poppy therefore Young Carrot the Elder?!
